Nanorod-assembled spinel Li1.05Mn1.95O4 rods with a central tunnel along the rod-axis were synthesized using highly crystalline β-MnO2 rods as self-templates. The synthesized spinel Li1.05Mn1.95O4 is an assembly of several single crystal-like nanorods with an average diameter and length of 100 and 400 nm, respectively, which was determined by microstructural Rietveld refinement using the synchrotron powder XRD data. Galvanostatic battery testing showed that central-tunneled and nanorod-assembled Li1.05Mn1.95O4 rods have a high charge storage capacity at high current densities in comparison with those of the spinel rods without a tunnel structure and commercial powders. Moreover, a capacity retention value of ∼81% was observed at the end of 100 cycles at a current of 250 mAh g−1.  相似文献

It is an effective method by synthesizing one-dimensional nanostructure to improve the rate performances of cathode materials for Li-ion batteries. In this paper, Li3V2(PO4)3 nanorods were successfully prepared by hydrothermal reaction method. The structure, composition and shape of the prepared were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), scan electron microscope (SEM) and transmission electron microscope (TEM), respectively. The data indicate the as-synthesis powders are defect-rich nanorods and the sizes are the length of several hundreds of nanometers to 1 μm and the diameter of about 60 nm. The preferential growth direction of the prepared material was the [1 2 0]. The electrodes consisting of the Li3V2(PO4)3 nanorods show the better discharge capacities at high rates over a potential range of 3.0-4.6 V. These results can be attributed to the shorter distance of electron transport and the fact that ion diffusion in the electrode material is limited by the nanorod radius. All these results indicate that the resulting Li3V2(PO4)3 nanorods are promising cathode materials in lithium-ion batteries.  相似文献

The occurrence of a large disturbance in a power system can lead to a decline in the system frequency and bus voltages due to a real and reactive power deficiency or due to the formation of islands with generation–load imbalance. Load shedding is an emergency control action that can prevent a blackout in the power system by relieving the overload in some parts of the system. This paper shows that rate of change of frequency can be utilized to determine the magnitude of generation–load imbalance, while the rate of change of voltage with respect to active power can be utilized to identify the sensitive bus for load shedding. The frequency, voltages and their rate of change can be obtained by means of measurements in real-time from various devices such as digital recorders or phasor measurement units or these parameters can be estimated from the voltage data by other means such as an optimal estimation method like Kalman filtering. The rate of change of system frequency, along with the equivalent system inertia may be used to estimate the magnitude of the disturbance prior to each load shedding step. The buses with a higher rate of change of voltage may be identified as the critical ones for load shedding and load can be first shed at these buses, depending on the change in the power flow at each bus. This application is tested on the IEEE 30 bus system and the preliminary results demonstrate that it is feasible to be used in load shedding to restore system voltage and frequency.  相似文献

通过管式电阻炉,用工业铁块、磷铁和硫化亚铁配制0.40%P试验用铁水,造渣剂石灰:萤石=9:1,造渣剂与铁水的比例为1:50,熔融温度1600℃。采用场发射扫描电镜和全自动压汞仪研究了石灰的微观结构-比表面积(1.05~4.75 m2/g)、平均孔径(605~1404 nm)、孔容积(0.23~0.78 mL/g)、体积密度(0.80~3.10 g/cm3)和活性度(298~350 mL)对铁水脱磷的影响。结果表明,随着石灰活性度的增加,铁水脱磷率逐渐增加;随着比表面积、平均孔径、孔容积和体积密度的增加铁水的脱磷率均先增加后降低,当石灰比表面积2.5 m2/g,平均孔径750~850 nm,孔容积0.45~0.55 mL/g,体积密度2.0 g/cm3时铁水的脱磷率达到最好,其铁水脱磷率达到63.0%。  相似文献

针对含噪环境下数字调制混合信号盲源分离(BSS)误码率(BER)过高的问题,提出了一种基于RobustICA的二阶段盲源分离算法R-TSBS。该算法采用RobustICA算法对阵列响应向量构成的混合矩阵进行估计,然后利用数字调制信号的有限符号集特征,在第二阶段用最大似然估计(MLE)方法估计各个数字调制源信号发送的符号序列,达到盲源分离的目的。实验仿真表明,传统的独立成分分析(ICA)算法如RobustICA算法和FastICA算法误码率很高,在信噪比(SNR)为10 dB时,其误码率达到了3.5×10-2左右,而基于FastICA的二阶段盲源分离算法F-TSBS和基于RobustICA的二阶段盲源分离算法R-TSBS的误码率则下降到了10-3,分离性能得到了明显改善;在较低的信噪比(0~4 dB)下,R-TSBS算法较F-TSBS算法约有2 dB性能提升。  相似文献

针对多输入输出(MIMO)系统在传输数据过程中的误码率(BER)和信道容量优化问题,提出一种基于合作似然检测和球形译码的多用户MIMO多跳中继系统。首先,该系统构建二阶协作的MIMO中继系统模型对信道数据的中继传输过程以及路径损耗、阴影衰落情况进行分析;接着,通过球形译码来推导出等效的最大似然规则进行对数正态阴影衰落检测;最后提出最大调和平均信道功率选择策略,基于相关性链路度量和最大信道功率阈值为用户选择误码率更小的接入链路,从而改善多用户MIMO系统的性能。实验仿真结果显示,与基于互信息最大化的多用户MIMO多跳中继系统以及基于解码转发和多入多出技术正交空时分组编码(STBC)的中继系统相比,该系统在数据传输过程中的平均比特误码率分别降低了27.4%和32.6%,平均信道容量分别提高了9.5%和12.7%,因此在减少误码率和提高信道容量上具有较好的效果。  相似文献

This paper explores analytical Radio Resource Management models where the relationship between users and services is mapped through utility functions. Compared to other applications of these models to networking, we focus in particular on specific aspects of multimedia systems with adaptive traffic, and propose a novel framework for describing and investigating dynamic allocation of resources in wireless networks. In doing so, we also consider economic aspects, such as the financial needs of the provider and the users’ reaction to prices. As an example of how our analytical tool can be used, in this paper we compare different classes of RRM strategies, e.g., Best Effort vs. Guaranteed Performance, for which we explore the relationships between Radio Resource Allocation, pricing, provider’s revenue, network capacity and users’ satisfaction. Finally, we present a discussion about Economic Admission Control, which can be applied in Best Effort scenarios to further improve the performance. Part of this work has been presented at the conference ACM/IEEE MSWiM 2004, Venice (Italy). Leonardo Badia received a Laurea degree (with honors) in electrical engineering and a Ph.D. in information engineering from the University of Ferrara, Italy, in 2000 and 2004, respectively. He was a Research Fellow at the University of Ferrara from 2001 to 2006. During these years, he also had collaborations with the University of Padova, Italy, and Wireless@KTH, Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. In 2006, he joined the “Institutions Markets Technologies” (IMT) Institute for Advanced Studies, Lucca, Italy, where he is currently a Research Fellow. His research interests include wireless ad hoc and mesh networks, analysis of transmission protocols, optimization tools and economic models applied to radio resource management. Michele Zorzi received a Laurea degree and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Padova in 1990 and 1994, respectively. During academic year 1992–1993, he was on leave at UCSD, attending graduate courses and doing research on multiple access in mobile radio networks. In 1993 he joined the faculty of the Dipartimento di Elettronica e Informazione, Politecnico di Milano, Italy. After spending three years with the Center for Wireless Communications at UCSD, in 1998 he joined the School of Engineering of the University of Ferrara, Italy, where he became a professor in 2000. Since November 2003 he has been on the faculty at the Information Engineering Department of the University of Padova. His present research interests include performance evaluation in mobile communications systems, random access in mobile radio networks, ad hoc and sensor networks, energy constrained communications protocols, and broadband wireless access. He was Editor-In-Chief of IEEE Wireless Communications, 2003–2005, and currently serves on the Editorial Boards of IEEE Transactions on Communications, IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, Wiley’s Journal of Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing, and ACM/URSI/Kluwer Journal of Wireless Networks, and on the Steering Committee of the IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing. He has also been a Guest Editor of special issues in IEEE Personal Communications (Energy Management in Personal Communications Systems) and IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications (Multimedia Network Radios).  相似文献

In some video coding applications, it is desirable to reduce the complexity of the video encoder at the expense of a more complex decoder. Wyner–Ziv (WZ) video coding is a new paradigm that aims to achieve this. To allocate a proper number of bits to each frame, most WZ video coding algorithms use a feedback channel, which allows the decoder to request additional bits when needed. However, due to these multiple bit requests, the complexity and the latency of WZ video decoders increase massively. To overcome these problems, in this paper we propose a rate allocation (RA) algorithm for pixel-domain WZ video coders. This algorithm estimates at the encoder the number of bits needed for the decoding of every frame while still keeping the encoder complexity low. Experimental results show that, by using our RA algorithm, the number of bit requests over the feedback channel—and hence, the decoder complexity and the latency—are significantly reduced. Meanwhile, a very near-to-optimal rate-distortion performance is maintained.
